Don't allow adult sites to be sold
I do not want to log in and see Porn Sites for sale on Flippa. I am an Adult, but do not consider these Adult sites, they are porn. Seeing there is a thread to suggest them, maybe there should be a thread here against them. Anyone else?

Seems to be the adult entertainment industry is a very lucrative business attractive to many people
I agree with freely say people in what they do can not prevent people from earning money that's ensured by all heavenly religions and laws for all human beings but you can't stand the spectators about any violation of the basic human rights, that globalization of porn is a flagrant violation of humanity encroachment it's human trafficking ... I say to the advocates of porn do what you like to do You are free but do it far away from us in the dark places and not in place of the light. -

All it would take to sequester those who limit income opportunity from "log[ging] in and see Porn Sites for sale" is a separate category for them. They'd all get handled through the separate area, clearly identified as the other categories are.

I don't mind if they don't allow porn sites to be sold at flippa. That's what http://bow.to is for anyway.

As usual, most of the people supporting this are of the opinion that they know best (even if they have no experience of the subject) and are imagining a worst-case scenario. What's the problem with a separate adult section or marking them adult and can't be viewed unless specifically opened? In a rational, adult world, none.
I don't have any adult sites of my own but to me this is a matter of principle and of freedoms. I don't see why anyone who works within adult sites should be treated like a leper.
Sex, like or not, is a product like many others, and we've got to live with that. I personally find it much more distasteful to see people making money out of putting up adsense sites on a cancer other terminal illness theme, but that's just me. I'm not saying they should be banned.
I just like to try and stop people from stopping people doing what they want. We're not all middle-class, middle-aged, conservative christians - thank god!

I Totally Agree with this! I know adult site is fast money making machine, but please don't here on Flippa. They have their own world! Some Flippers has family, they have child, wife, etc. What can I say if someday I have a child and ask me, "pap, what's your job?". I answer, "I'm selling site on Flippa.". Then my child say, "You're pervert!".
Oh dude, please... keep Flippa clean.Btw, thanks for making this poll, JD.

Why not do it like eBay? I'm willing to bet that most of those voting for this still like eBay... Just have it in a separate area. Listings should not be visible when doing normal searches or on the homepage of Flippa. Instead they should be in their own separate category where you must agree to view them. Then people who don't want to see them aren't bothered and people who would like to see them can see them.

I heavily agree with this thread title. I am really happy that adult sites are not allowed. Like any other respectable marketplace out of there, in real life or online, adult material should not be sold on Flippa. I think that non-pornographic sites which are simply websites about sexual dysfunction or other health problems are fine. Even if the website was somewhat adult in nature (a website about sexual technique for example) but didn't actually contain pornographic material, I think would be alright. But if full fledged porn sites started appearing on Flippa, I for one would be bothered.

What about "adult" themed sites that are not pornographic? for example sites that deal with sexual dysfunction or other sexual health problems. Should they be allowed?

Nobodies denying any access to anything, its just a matter of taking your business elsewhere. If porn is allowed it will totally degrade any sense of class that legitimate business sites have on here. There is NOTHING adult about pornography. Grow up!

These are not adult conversations. If you don't like something, don't look at it. Please, don't deny it for everyone. There is too much hypocrisy going on in this country. People do and say things behind closed doors all the time and then come outside trying to look cleaner than everyone else. I don't like porno so I keep my hands and my eyes away from it. Next time you go to Church, look your pastor in the eyes and ask him what he thinks about pornography. His answer will probably surprise you.

why not put them in a separate section which can only be entered with clear warnings.

rondroid's comments are true ("...customers would not return if thay stumbled upon that cr...") in my case. I have not used online resources that allow access to or adverstisments from porn/Adults sites. Part of my concern is, that those who associate me, with my accounts, would consider that I support such a site (and actions) because I use their resources and that would not be true.

@sputnick. Bro your remarks are only centered towards your view. You have to look at this business from a global perspective. I don't walk through a porn store to visit the market for groceries. Why would it be any different here. Oh wait because maybe you make and sell smut for a living ( you see your opinion is only for you and not beneficial to the entire community )

I see both sides of the picture here. If they do decide to have them on here they should be on a completely different tab or section. Not just marked and left to mingle with the other sites. I have potential customers from church and the local school district that visit here to see sites I have up for auction and they also broswe the entire site.
I'm pretty sure that some of those customers would not return if thay stumbled upon that crap.
Go list it on a warez site, they seem to go hand in hand anyhow, or maybe that's hand job in hand - lol. -

I think any and all sites should have a place to be listed, even porn or "alternative"/lifestyle websites. If you don't want to look at porn or sites of that nature, don't open them! Pretty simple!

What a lame suggestion. Like the others have said above me, they would be marked *Adult*. If you're really that up tight about some text, maybe you shouldn't be on the internet at all.

Adding an adult category would only make this site grow. I see no problems with it. Children shouldnt be on this site anyways.

There are plenty of other places to buy and sell your porn sites, aren't there? Or maybe they can create 99PornDesigns or FippaPorn4u for you all.
Glad about the feedback votes this received so far....thanks everyone.

If the auction is listed as adult, don't open it.
